About Rodolfo Arteaga

Rodolfo Arteaga, known in the artistic medium as RAY, is a young Venezuelan singer-songwriter, established in the United States since 2012. RAY began his musical career at an early age, studying Cuatro in his hometown, Ciudad Ojeda, Zulia State. At the age of 10 he started his path in a musical group called El Sistema, and simultaneously participated as a vocalist in local bands. At age 17 in 2012, after finishing his high school studies, he decides to emigrate to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a successful artist. With the help of Javier Soto, a renowned Venezuelan producer nominated for the Latin Grammys on numerous occasions, he began the production of his first album titled El resto de mis dias.

After completing his A.A. Degree in Music Education at Miami Dade College in 2014, RAY is accepted at the prestigious institution Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he decides to move to continue his studies. In 2015, Rodolfo visited his native country Venezuela, where he made several concerts and media tours, promoting his single Como no quererte. In 2016, before finishing her studies in Boston, RAY released her first album El resto de mis días in 2015, with which he won recognition in the New England area such as Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Connecticut as the Best New Artist, performing in numerous concerts as festivals.

In 2016, Rodolfo obtains his Bachelors Degree in Professional Music, specialized in Music Education and Music Business with Summa Cum Laude honors from Berklee College of Music.Currently, RAY is living in Miami, where he is the musical director at World Music Schools, a music education project endorsed by the prestigious Japanese corporation Yamaha.
